Rouhani rejects extremist interpretations of Islam

24 Aug 2015 - 13:56

Tehran, Aug 24, IRNA - President Hassan Rouhani said on Monday that extremist interpretations of Islamic Revolution of Iran are rejected.

He added that all revolutionaries should be bound to the rule of law.
Rouhani hailed the role of people in all victories during the past three decades, adding that the success of nuclear talks is the result of people and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei's support.
He said the future of Iran is brilliant, adding that the government will do its best to use the opportunity of removal of sanctions to develop the country.
Government plans to enhance Iran's position in the international scene, the president underlined.
On July 14, Iran and the P5+1 countries finalized the text of the agreement, dubbed the JCPOA, in the Austrian city of Vienna.
Under the JCPOA, limits will be put on Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for, among other things, the removal of all economic and financial bans against the Islamic Republic.
The UNSC on July 20 unanimously adopted a draft resolution turning the JCPOA into an international law. All 15 members of the UN body voted for the draft UN resolution in New York, setting the stage for the lifting of the Security Council sanctions against Iran.
