Tehran, Aug 19, IRNA - Works by Iranian children illustrators will be presented at the 28th Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF), the Iran Daily said.

The event will be held in Moscow, Russia from September 2 to 6, Mehr News Agency reported.

A total of 68 works on children’s literature and illustration will be displayed in the event. Iran has been selected as the Guest of Honor at the fair this year.

Director of the event Sergei Kaykin met Iran’s Cultural Attaché to Russia Reza Maleki in May to provide details on the plans and facilities available to Iran as the Guest of Honor to carry out its cultural programs.

MIBF was established in 1977 and is an official member of the International Organization of Book Publishers.

Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI) will represent Iran at the 29th MIBF which is slated for June 2016.
