Health Ministry to support Iranian expats establishing knowledge-based firms

15 Aug 2015 - 17:46

Tehran, August 15, The Iran Project – Iran’s Health Ministry Director General of health technology development office says the ministry will support Iranian expatriates  and foreign investors to establish knowledge-based companies in the country.

In post-sanction era, we are going to provide the ground for the technologists and elites abroad to work in Iran instead of transferring technological knowledge or producing products under license, said Health Ministry Director General of health technology development office Hossein Vatanpour on Saturday.

Vatanpour referred to the efforts made to control manufactured products imports of foreign knowledge-based companies as another way to support national companies in post-sanction conditions.

Expressing satisfaction over holding the first conference on medical science and knowledge-based production, and the first meeting of health knowledge-based companies, he pointed out that health ministry will support receiving international certificates to increase the quality of national products.

He went on to say that it is expected that 278 Iranian health knowledge-based companies actively participate in the conference and display their achievements.
