Tehran, Aug 10, IRNA -- The University of Tehran's College of Engineering ranked 56th in the world and the first among Iranian engineering universities, according to US News Education.
The universal rank of the college shows growth in research production related to many engineering fields including aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and civil engineering, the Tehran-based English newspaper, Iran Daily reported.
Tehran University, Iran’s best university for engineering, is ahead of Sharif University of Technology which ranked 58th on the same list.
The overall evaluation of universities puts the two still atop other Iranian universities with rankings of 360th and 377th in the world.
US News Education provides rankings of over 1400 best colleges and universities and hundreds of best graduate school programs annually.
