Tehran, Aug 10, IRNA – Those behind Marivan's last week incidents will see consequence very soon, Mohammad Fallahi, governor of Marivan said on Monday.
The official said that the hired agents who tried to sabotage the region's stability are jealous of the Kurdistan region's economic development.
The Islamic Republic has always supported all Kurds inside the country and even outside the borders in Iraq and other countries, he noted.
PJAK, the PKK’s Iranian affiliate attacked a border police station on Friday in Iran’s predominantly-Kurdish city of Marivan.
Marivan is a small city located only a few kilometers from the Iraqi border.
The Turkish government considers PJAK, like the PKK, a terrorist organization. PJAK is also considered a terrorist organization by the US and Iran.
