Senior military sources say the budget allocation for an attack on Iran was exaggerated, according to a Monday-morning report by Kol Yisrael government radio.
The comments were made in connection with claims of former prime minister Ehud Olmert that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu "spent 11 billion on hallucinations that did not come true." According to the sources, the amounts which Olmert cited were exaggerated and the decision to prepare a possible military operation in Iran is legitimate. However, they stressed that it was possible to spend a lot less money.
