Khorramabad, July 23, IRNA - Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi said on Thursday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to produce the first home-made national satellite.
Preliminary measures to manufacture the first home-made satellite has already been taken, he said.
Speaking to reporters, he said to attain the goal Iran is now consulting with accredited companies and feasibility studies have been launched on attaining the goal inside the country.
After triumph in the country's nuclear talks and new changes in Iran's relations with the outside world, satellites are expected to be produced with reliance on domestic experts, he said.
