Iran, S. Korea expand laboratory cooperation

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran and South Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand cooperation in laboratory fields.

The document was signed by Iran’s Strategic Technologies Laboratory Network and South Korean HTC Co. with the aim of expanding interactions and laboratory cooperation.

The MoU was signed for issuing certificates, conducting calibration tests on new laboratory devices for strategic technologies fields and pharmaceutical equipment domains.

The two sides would work on presenting various certificates for standard and products quality, advanced devices built in Iran, presenting test services and calibration for laboratory equipment in network, cooperation on toxicity studies, managing and assessing risks of activities, consultations on network laboratories and holding trading courses to establish ISO/IEC17025.

The document was signed for 5 years.
