Moscow, July 9, IRNA – Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanayee said that President Hassan Rouhani has preplanned visits with his Russian and Belarus counterparts as well as Indian prime minister and leaders of several other countries in Ufa, Bashkortostan Republic.
Sanayee said that President Rouhani will meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the summit meetings of the Shanghai Cooperation Council (SCO) and BRICS.
President Hassan Rouhani arrived in the city Ufa, Bashkortostan Republic of Russia, on Wednesday night to attend the summit meetings of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS there.
President Rouhani left Tehran for Moscow on Wednesday afternoon to attend Shanghai Cooperation Organization as well as BRICS summit meetings.
He was due to fly on Thursday morning, but his schedule changed to Wednesday afternoon.
The 2-day meetings will start on July 9 and President Rouhani as the ' Special Guest' will deliver speech at BRICS summit and on the second day, he will also deliver speech at the SCO summit meeting.
Bilateral meetings and talks with a number of heads of member-states of BRICS and SCO are on his agenda.
BRICS comprises countries such as Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
In addition to the two Summit, Eurasia Summit is also to be held in Russia, too.
City of Ufa, capital of Bashkortostan Republic of Russia is hosting all three summits on Thursday and Friday July 9 and 10.
