Vienna, Jul 2, IRNA -- A final comprehensive nuclear deal with Iran will promote global peace and security, said Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz in Vienna on Thursday.
Addressing media representatives on the sidelines of the Iran nuclear talks, Kurz said, 'We hope an agreement will not only promote peace, stability and security in the region but also in our part of the world.'
Reiterating that a final accord was possible, Austria's chief diplomat expressed 'pride' in the fact that his country was hosting numerous rounds of nuclear talks.
Referring to Kerry's latest announcement in Vienna that Washington and Havanna were re-estbalishing diplomatic ties after more than half a century, Kurz said change was possible.
Alluding to the US-Iranian diplomatic freeze since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Kurz voiced hope that 'in the long-run enemies could become friends.'
