Iran, G5+1 deputy FMs hold 6 hours of talks in Vienna

Tehran, June 24, IRNA – The deputy foreign ministers of Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) had two meetings or over six hours of talks in the eight day of their negotiations with EU deputy foreign policy chief for coordination Helga Schmidt.



Tehran, June 24, IRNA – The deputy foreign ministers of Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) had two meetings or over six hours of talks in the eight day of their negotiations with EU deputy foreign policy chief for coordination Helga Schmidt on Wednesday.

Iran’s senior negotiators Seyed Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht Ravanchi started their talks with the representatives of the world powers for writing the text of the final agreement in Vienna last Wednesday.

The negotiatios were halted on Monday as Iran’s deputy foreign ministers went to Luxembourg to negotiate with Sxchmidt and Mohammad javad Zarif also went to Luxembourg nto talks with foreign ministers of France, Germany and Britain.

The negotiations were resumed the next day.

The deadline for Iran-Group 5+1 to finish writing text of final agreement is July 1.

Iran has announced many times that it is looking for a good agreement and it is not worried about the deadline.
