The deputy culture minister has praised Iranian media for their coverage of the funeral procession of 270 servicemen who were martyred during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s.
Hossein Entezami said that the media coverage of the final homecoming of the martyrs as well as the massive turnout of people for the historic procession shows Iranian media pay careful attention to the values and ideals of the Islamic establishment.
Irrespective of their political leanings, media outlets did a professional job in disseminating information on the fallen soldiers, he added.
