Dushanbe, June 19, IRNA – Tajikistan’s Parliament Speaker Shakourjan Zohourov in a meeting with Hamedan Governor General Nasser Nikbakht underlined the need for the consolidation of cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan in different areas.

“The grounds have been paved for the expansion of cooperation and in this line over 170 cooperation pacts in politics, economy, culture and science have been signed, Tajik parliament speaker said.

The Tajik parliament speaker in his meeting with Hamedan governor general and the accompanying delegation discussed expansion of Iran-Tajikistan relations in different areas.

“The people of Iran and Tajikistan have been known as nations of literature and culture and Hamedan province as Iran’s most ancient province has good relations with Tajikistan in all areas.
