The deputy chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee told ICANA on Sunday a nuclear deal with the major powers would benefit the region.

“If (nuclear negotiations) reach a conclusion… (the improvement of) relations with Muslim and regional countries will certainly take priority,” Ahmad Reza Dastgheib said.

“The misconception that a powerful Iran is to the detriment of regional countries should be dispelled as it has been proved many times that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never acted against the interests of Muslim countries.”
