Tehran, June 1, The Iran Project - Public relations of Intelligence Ministry denies the reports quoting Iran’s Minister of Intelligence Seyyed Mahmoud Alavi as saying “some groups involved in the elections are scrambling to replace me.”

In a statement on Sunday, the Public Relations office of Iran’s Intelligence Ministry rejected the quotation as a “sheer lie,” adding the Ministry will certainly pursue the case through legal channels in due time.

Some news website quoted Iran’s Minister of Intelligence Seyyed Mahmoud Alavi on Saturday as saying “some groups involved in the elections are trying to find a replacement for me.”
