Tehran, May 28, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian on Thursday reviewed the latest regional and international developments with the Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam.
Amirabdollahian met with Tammam Salam on the sidelines of the 42nd annual meeting of foreign ministers of member states of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Kuwait City.
During the meeting, Iranian official praised Lebanese premier's efforts in boost of peace, security and democracy in Lebanon.
Iran would continue its support for Lebanon, Iranian deputy foreign minister added.
Lebanon prime minister for his part welcomed expansion of ties between Iran and Lebanon.
He asked Amirabdollahian to convey his best wishes to President Rouhani.
Tammam Salam called Iran-Lebanon relations as satisfactory.
