TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran’s trade balance in the first month of Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2014) was positive, Head of Iran’s Customs Organization Massoud Karbasian said.
Iran’s exports hit $7.700 billion from the beginning of Iranian calendar year until May 18 with the imports totaled $5.500 billion.
Iran’s exports mainly included gas condensations, petrochemicals, industrial goods as well as hand-woven carpets, he said, adding the country’s imports were fundamental goods and cars.
According to Karbasian, Iran’s transit totaled 2.670 million tons during the period
