KERMANSHAH, Apr. 29 (MNA) – Iran’s Naval Force Commander has said no country would issue warning to Iranian Naval Forces’ fleet of destroyers.

Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the ceremony to mark Natioal Persian Gulf Day in Razi University of Kermanshah on Wednesday. “Iran’s Navy has had a systematic presence in Gulf of Aden; currently, the 34th fleet of destroyers of the Navy is patrolling the Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab waters, and provide security to the sea routes and giant oil tanks crossing these routes,” said the Navy commander. “The fleet is in international waters to tackle terrorism threats and in full adherence to the international rules; no power or country would issue warning to Iran’s Navy fleet of destroyers, and we will never tolerate such warnings either,” Sayyari told reporters.

“We have never entered territorial waters of any country so far; no threat has targeted our country and we will not allow any country to dare such threat either,” asserted the commander, who emphasized that Iran’s Navy would strongly navigate Gulf of Aden waters to provide security for other countries in the gulf.
