Tehran, April 16, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said on Thursday that all countries looking forward to witness clinching final nuclear deal between Iran and G5+1, adding however that the G5+1 needs the deal more than Iran does.
President Rouhani made the remarks at the end of his provincial tour of Gilan province on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters, he said Iran's main goal in the deal is to prove to the world that all accusations leveled against the country had been unfounded and this will be the greatest achievement at international level.
The other party's recognition of the Iranian nation's right to make use of peaceful nuclear energy is a significant achievement, said President Rouhani.
'We are duty-bound to continue our path until clinching the final deal provided that the other sides prove their honesty and this is a very complicated job,' he said.
The points the two sides have been agreed upon are mentioned in the joint plan of action but there will be a very tough path to reach the final deal within the remaining time, said President Rouhani.
There are many technical, legal, political and economic issues which should be resolved between the two sides, he said.
'If the two sides fail to clinch the final deal, it will be detrimental to both sides and they know that they cannot maintain their sanctions as before,' he said.
'We hope all sides will show firm determination to finalize the issue,' said President Rouhani.
Iran is looking forward to clinch a fair deal within the remaining time, he said.
