TEHRAN (FNA)- Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has died, unconfirmed reports said on Wednesday.
Several Independent sources said that Egypt's Hosni Mubarak has died at the age of 87.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Hassan Shoukri confirmed the revelation on his tweeter account minutes ago.
No other official confirmation has been made by the Egyptian government yet.
Contradictory reports have emerged on Mubarak's death since this morning.
An unnamed source at Maadi Military Hospital, where Mubarak is hospitalized for complicated health problems, told Masrawy website that the former president experienced critical health conditions, but was saved by doctors, although he is not in stable conditions.
Yet, one of the physicians at the same hospital, who is not a member of Mubarak's medical team, confirmed his death.
The source said Mubarak experienced massive heart attack and doctors "failed to rescue him despite long CPR efforts".
