TEHRAN, Apr. 13 (MNA) – Iran’s Leader has extolled the victory of Iranian men wrestlers in the 2015 Freestyle Wrestling World Cup in US.


 

Following the triumphant victory of Iran’s national freestyle wrestling team in the 2015 Freestyle Wrestling World Cup in the United States, Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has issued a message to extend his praise for the wrestlers and the coaches.


The translated version of his message is as follows:


"In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,


Extending my congratulations to our beloved Iran’s national freestyle wrestling team on their championship in the Freestyle Wrestling World Cup, I am grateful to God that our people once again could achieve greatness on the international scene."


Iranian wrestlers defeated the hosting US squad 5-3 on Sunday evening at the Forum in Los Angeles and won the 2015 Freestyle Wrestling World Cup.
