Media must not go to extremes in opposing Lausanne statement

8 Apr 2015 - 23:02

Tehran, April 8, IRNA – Minister of Defense and Logistics of the Armed Forces criticized domestic media for going to extremes in opposing Lausanne statement and said that such conduct serves the excessive demands of the enemy.
Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said that wise review, fair criticism and friendly notice about nuclear talks are useful.

He said that the Supreme Leader's guidelines, the government's approach and resolve of the negotiating team all were in harmony and would not allow the other side to impose any pressure on Iran.

Referring to such false claims by the UK daily, the Guardian, which wrote 'inspection of military centers is part of Lausanne framework agreement', Dehqan said that there is no such agreement and in principle visiting the military centers are not allowed under the international law and it would not be accepted at all.

The minister said that extreme optimism and extreme pessimism would not yield desirable fruits and would not serve national interests.
