Tehran, March 29, IRNA – Diplomatic bureau of the foreign ministry issued a statement on Sunday on the status of Iranian journalist who lodged political asylum in Switzerland.

Iscanews, affiliated to (Iranian student reporters club), had introduced two of its reporters for the news coverage between Iran and G5+1 in Switzerland. 


The two reporters were then introduced to Switzerland embassy and got their visas. 

One of the two reporters applied for political asylum and the Iscanews agency informed the foreign ministry that the news agency has cut cooperation with the reporter. 

Some media announced that Iscanews journalist had left the country under pretext to news coverage of nuclear talks between Iran and the G5+1.
