TEHRAN (ISNA)- Turkish Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz would visit Iran in coming days, said Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Alireza Bikdeli.
“We are providing the grounds for the visit of the Turkish Minister of Development and President Special Aide Cevdet Yilmaz at top of an economic delegation for two days on March 14-15 March,” he wrote in his Facebook page.
He said Iran and Turkey would discuss bilateral economic issues during the trip.
Iran and Turkey have been pursuing widening of their ties in various fields in the last two decades. Iran is a main energy supplier to Turkey and Ankara has made huge investments in Iran.
Iran is a main destination of Turkish goods and Turkey is among the top destinations of Iranian tourists and traders.
