Iranian woman climbs Kilimanjaro for charity

kilimaA UK-based Iranian woman, Anahita Abadpour, is climbing the summit of highest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro, in an effort to raise funds for Iran's Children Charity organization.
Abadpour, who is currently a research reservoir engineer at Total E&P UK, started the seven day climb on December 22 from the Marangu route.

Iran's Children Charity is a Non-Governmental Organization which supports registered orphanages, charities and organizations.

Ali Asghar Hospital, Mofid Children's Hospital, The Association for Protection of Child Laborer (various cities in Iran), The Child Foundation, H. Roghieh (s) orphanage for children 0 - 6 years old and Bagheri orphanage for children 12 - 17 years old are among institutes supported by Iran's Children Charity.
