TEHRAN, Mar. 02 (MNA) – Member of directors’ board of Iran-Armenia chamber of commerce has announced the construction of a business development center in Armenia.

Member of the Board of Directors Hervik Yarijanian made the remarks at today’s press conference, adding the trade development center would become a place to export Iranian products to countries such as Georgia and Russia.

“There is a train station next to this center which can easily and economically export Iranian productions to the target countries or even to Europe,” he said.

According to him, the trade transactions between Iran and Armenia currently stand at 340 million dollars, with Iran’s trade balance being positive. Armenia is a consumer of Iran’s food products including beef, chicken, and shrimp as well as other products.

Yarijanian also noted the private sectors of Iran and Hungary would soon establish a joint enterprise to further increase the level of trade relations between the two countries.

Presently, the level of trade transactions between Iran and Hungary stands at 40 million dollars. It is predicted this figure will reach 100 million dollars by September 2015. The trade balance for Iran is positive.
