Iran’s deputy-FM: Terrorism has no place in future of Syria

TEHRAN, Feb. 20 (MNA) – Iran’s deputy-FM for Arab and African Affairs has said armed conflict linked to terrorism has no place in the future of Syria and the region.



Iran’s deputy-FM for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, while congratulating Syrian army's recent victories against the terrorists, said that the victory certainly indicated complete and imminent freedom of Aleppo from the clutches of terrorists and irresponsible armed groups.

He went on to say that presence of a strong army and Syrian volunteer groups as well as their widespread attacks against the terrorists in various fronts have made closer the elimination of terrorism in the country.


Amir-Abdollahian stressed that Syria’s issues is merely resolved by a political solution and Syrian government needs a genuine challenge with a political solution.
