First Vice-President visits Iran Expo in Baghdad

Baghdad, Feb 17, IRNA – First Vice-President Is'haq Jahangiri, on the second day of his visit to Baghdad, toured a fair of specialized Iranian products in Baghdad.

The fair was inaugurated on Monday in the presence of high-ranking Iranian and Iraqi officials.

Over 250 Iranian companies have displayed their products in the fair.

Products in the fields such as oil, gas, petrochemicals, housing, water and electricity, health and treatment, medical equipment, foodstuffs, medicines, household appliances, automobiles and industry have been displayed in the fair.

Iranian and Iraqi dignitaries accompanied Jahangiri in his visit to the fair.

The fair which has been warmly welcomed by Iraqi businessmen and other citizens will be open until Thursday.

In a related news, Jahangiri made a pilgrimage to the city of Kazemein near Baghdad on Monday. The city is the site of holy shrines for two Shiite imams of the infallible house of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
