Tehran, Feb 4, IRNA – Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani has forwarded the list revealing 170 names of accused parliament members to the Judiciary Force.
According to the Journalists Club website, Kamaleddin Pirmo?azzen, a member of the parliament?s Conservatives Fraction announced the news on the Parliament Speaker Larijani?s move on Wednesday.
?I asked Mr. Larijani about the current status of the letter (including the names of 170 parliament members) which was signed by some 20 to 23 parliamentarians and he told ne that it had been forwarded to the Judiciary Force for adoption of the required measures,? he told the Journalists? Club reporter.
Pirmoazzen reiterated that earlier this month the list revealing the names of 170 parliament members that Mohammad-Reza Rahimi (the former president?s 1st vice speaker) has claimed they have received bribe money from him was forwarded by the Conservatives Fraction to legislative and juriciary heads.
The former president Mahmud Ahmadinejad?s first vice president Mohammad Reza Rahimi had earlier this month after being sentenced to irrevocable imprisonment sentence claimed that 170 of the current parliament members had received bribe money from him to influence the election process.
Pirmoazzen, too, had earlier announced in a press conference that a number of parliament members have in a letter asked for revealing the names of the wrongdoer parliament members.
