TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for African and Arab Countries Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with South African President Jacob Zuma.
During the meeting held on the sidelines of the African Union summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Amir-Abdollahian called for boosting bilateral ties between the two countries in all domains.
He also invited Zuma on the behalf of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to pay a visit to Iran as soon as possible.
Zuma, for his part, expressed the hope that he could visit Iran soon.
He also expressed satisfaction with steps taken by foreign ministries of the two countries to boost ties.
