Turkish Airlines (THY) has begun flights to and from the Iranian city of Isfahan, the second largest metropolitan area in the country.
The destination is THY’s fifth destination in Iran after Tehran, Tabriz, Mashhad and Shiraz, THY said in a written statement yesterday.
The airline will fly Istanbul to Isfahan on Wednesdays and Sundays; flights in the opposite direction will operate Mondays and Thursdays. A round-trip ticket to Isfahan will cost 99 euros, including all taxes.
