Iran to adopt a tough stance on Tel Aviv: official

28 Jan 2015 - 9:14

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – Police chief Brigadier-General Esmael Ahmadi Moqaddam said on Tuesday Iran will adopt a tough stance on Tel Aviv regime.
Ahmadi Moqaddam made the remarks speaking to IRNA on the sidelines of a ceremony to pay tribute to martyr Mohammad Ali Allahdadi, an IRGC commander, as well as six Hezbollah fighters who were also martyred along with Brigadier General Allahdadi in Israeli air raids on January 18 in the Lebanese Quneitra region.
Iranian officials and Lebanon's Hezbollah will decide about a prompt response to the Zionist regime, Ahmadi Moqaddam said.
Ultimate defeat of the Zionist regime is Iran's strategic response, he added.

He made clear that the Islamic Republic of Iran will surely give a harsh response to aggressions of the Tel Aviv regime, saying related officials will make decisions in this regard.

The ceremony to pay tribute to martyrs of last week Israeli air raids was held at a mosque eastern Tehran.

Senior officials including First Vice-President Es'haq Jahangiri, Commander of IRGC Qods Force Major-General Qassem Soleimani, Supreme Leader's Advisor Yahya Rahim Safavi, Police chief Brigadier Esmaeil Ahmadi Moqaddam, Syrian ambassador to Tehran Adnan Mahmoud and Managing-Director of Islamic Republic News Agency Mohammad Khoddadi were present in the ceremony.
