Tehran, Jan 18, IRNA – Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi said that Iranian experts have made great achievements in the field of laser.
  Talking on the sidelines of the Second Exhibition on Achievements of Iran Laser Science and Technology Center, he added that the achievements featured in the exhibition are honorable and astonishing.
Referring to great applications of laser in various fields such as medicine, industry and agriculture, the minister hailed young researchers' efforts, saying that they have managed to produce different laser apparatuses.

Describing the exhibit as valuable and desirable, Farhadi said that fortunately, various lasers have been produced for different purposes by Iran Laser Science and Technology Center.

The minister pointed to numerous applications of laser in the field of medicine, saying that laser is useful in diagnosing, treatment, surgery and even rehabilitation of patients.
