Obama's new bluff: I don't bluff

22 Dec 2014 - 23:04

One more bluff. Obama bluffed that he is not bluffing about attacking Iran.

Barack Obama, who has repeatedly bluffed that “all options are on the table” to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, is trying to convince Israelis not to rush to war with Iran and warned them they would only make a bad situation worse if they moved pre-emptively against Iranian nuclear facilities.

Many of the international media criticized Obama's dual policy against Iran.

Last week, in an interview with President Barack Obama, the Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg critically asked him what you exactly mean by ‘all options on the table’. You’ve probably said it fifty or 100 times, but Iran and Israel don’t entirely trust this, the Atlantic reported.

Iranian government called it a bluff, even the Israelis considered it a vague expression that has been used for so many years.

Mr. Obama told Goldberg "I think that the Israeli government recognizes that, as president of the United States, I don't bluff. I also don't, as a matter of sound policy, go around advertising exactly what our intentions are. He went on Iran and Israel both understand that “a military component” is among a mix of many options for dealing with Iran.

But, it seems  that Obama is just bluffing.
