Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA – Croatian Ambassador to Iran Striebor Keric conferred on Wednesday with the Deputy Director of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Morteza Rahmani-Movahed on expansion of tourism cooperation between Iran and Croatia.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and Croatia possess huge potentials to further bolster tourism industry in both countries, Rahmani-Movahed said.
Referring to various sets of MoUs signed on tourism industry in recent years, he welcomed the request made by Croatian tourism minister to visit Iran to study expansion of the tourism industry.
Presence of Croatian tourism minister in Iran will be a suitable opportunity to represent the country's cultural, historical, natural and tourism potentials, he said.
Tehran is to host the 8th Exhibition on Tourism and Related Industries during February 12-15.
Croatian ambassador, for his part, highlighted the two sides potentials in tourism industry and welcomed expansion of cooperation in the sector.
He called for updating previous MoUs and sign new MoUs to broaden scope of cooperation in tourism industry between the two countries.
