TEHRAN, Jan. 12 (MNA) – Iran’s First VP congratulated Somalia's new Prime Minister on his appointment to the position.
Iranian First Vice-President Es'haq Jahangiri, in a message on Monday, felicitated Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke on his appointment as the new prime minister of Somalia.


In his message, Jahangiri expressed hope that bilateral ties between the two countries would further expand during the tenure of the new Somalian prime minister in various fields, including politics, economy and culture.


Jahangiri also wished for further success and prosperity of the people and government of Somalia.
