TEHRAN, Jan. 12 (MNA) – Tehran will be hosting 2nd exhibition on Laser Science and Technology Achievements coinciding with the International Year of Light to show the latest progresses made by Iranian scientists in the field.
The second edition of exhibition of Laser Science and Technology Achievements will take place at Persian Gulf Hall in Tehran international permanent fairground, January 15-18.
The exhibition is to showcase the latest findings in disk, fiber, and semiconductor lasers, along with a set of technological infrastructure for lasers in the fields of crystal growth, optics, mechanics, electricity and electronics, metallurgy and cooling.
The exhibition also features a section on nanotechnology, biophotonics, spectroscopy, and material processing. Furthermore, a set of medical and industrial lasers, as well as laser research resources will be displayed to public.
The 2nd exhibition of Laser Science and Technology Achievements covers an area of 1500sqm with 28 booths displaying 40 different types of milliwatt to kilowatt lasers.
The first edition of this exhibition took place in 2010 and enjoyed a great impact on the national and international scene.
