Tehran, Jan 11, IRNA - Iraq's Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mehdi is to visit Tehran on Monday to talk about joint oil fields, gas exports and petrochemicals trade, Iraqi media reported on Sunday.
Azadegan Joint Oil Field is currently the biggest joint field of the two countries. Iran hopes to increase oil production in this field.
Yaran, Naft-Shahr, and Karkheh are some other joint oil fields of Iran and Iraq.
Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said on Saturday that Iran and Iraq have signed a new contract to export 25 million cubic meters of gas to Iraq.
