Sari, Mazandaran prov, Jan 9, IRNA – The bishop of Iran’s Armenian Catholics Karakehian praised the close interaction between the Iranian government and religious minorities.
Making the remark in a meeting with governor general of this northern province, he said he was sure the warm and sincere relations between the Iranian government and religious minorities bore good fruits.
He said the religious minorities felt quite sure and secure about the good intentions and good will of the Iranian government towards them.
He further expressed gratitude for the respect paid to the religious minorities by Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Armenian Catholic official also noted that religious minorities were living in Iran in utter happiness and peace.
