Bandar Abbas, Jan 7, IRNA – Coast Guard officers of Sirak and Minab townships of Hormuzgan province have arrested 90 foreign citizens who intended to enter Iran illegally, commander of provincial Coast Guards said Wednesday.
'They are from Pakistan and Afghanistan and they were arrested on the heights around four villages of Sirak and handed over to judiciary officials in line with controlling and preserving the security of the county's eastern borders,' Colonel Hamid Chegini told IRNA
Sirak Township with its 40,000 population is located at a 175 kilometer distance to the east of Bandar Abbas port city and has 120 kilometers of coast line.
