TEHRAN Jan 06 (Shana)--Fanavaran Petchem Company has exported more than 600,000 tons of methanol since March 2014, the company’s managing-director said.
Ali Nazarpour said the company’s methanol production has totaled 710,000 tons during this period of time.
He said the plant is running at only 65% of its rated capacity due to the shortage of feedstock.
Fanavaran Petchem Co produces 2,850 tons of methanol and 430 tons of acetic acid a day, said Nazarpour, adding that 90% of its products are exported to China, India and Turkey.
