Iraqi prime minister: Daesh to be uprooted in near future

Baghdad, Jan 4, IRNA – Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Ibadi said on Sunday that Daesh terrorist group will be uprooted in near future.
  'We are practically the only country that has employed all its armed forces, security officers and volunteer brigades in a nationwide campaign against the ISIS and relying on all-out support of the entire Iraqi nation achieved great and unprecedented victories against this terrorist group,' said al-Ibdai in his joint press conference with visiting Australian counterpart Tony Abbott.
He said that every single Iraqi citizen favors preserving the national unity and territorial integrity of Iraq, and effective campaign against Daesh.

Al Ibadi appreciated Australia for forwarding its fighter jets and its reconnaissance planes in campaign against the ISIS and for military training of the Iraqi forces for the purpose.

Prime Minister Abbott, too, for his part acknowledged Australia's determination for expansion of constructive relations with Iraq.
