Iran produces wood from urban waste

3 Jan 2015 - 13:50

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian researchers have designed a plan producing wood from urban and agricultural waste.
The plan has been designed based on Iran's unavoidable need to protect the environment.

The method is economical, protects the environment, uses the material and energy of plastic waste, removes landfill costs and makes job opportunities.

The waste is turned to wood and is resistant against water. Its water absorption coefficient reaches 0.16 percent.

Oil paint is also produced by the plan as well.
