TEHRAN, Dec. 30 (MNA) – Iranian film Painting Pool has won Audience Award for Best Film at Iranian Film Festival Australia (IFFA).
Maziar Miri’s Painting Pool, a product of Art Center, received the Audience Award for Best Film at Iranian Film Festival Australia (IFFA).
IFFA was held on October 2–November 9 in cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide in Australia.
Publicly screened in 2013, Painting Pool received UNESCO Award at the seventh annual Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA). It narrates the story of a couple, Maryam and Reza, who are different from normal people around and face a big challenge in proving others that they have resolved the difference by the miracle of love.
So far, the film has been enjoying several screenings and awards at various international film festivals including International Fajr Film Festival, the 18th Busan International Film Festival, the 2014 Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), 2nd Sharjah International Children's Film Festival in 2014 and Ajyal Youth Film Festival in 2014.
