Serbia touts Iranian culture

TEHRAN, Dec. 29 (MNA) – Director of the Museum of Anthropology in Serbia met with Iran's cultural attaché in Belgrade and praised Iran’s culture.
In her Monday meeting with Mahmoud Shalouei, Iran's cultural attaché in Belgrade, the Director of the Museum of Anthropology in Serbia Mirjana Menkovi? praised Iran’s culture, saying that they respect and honor Iranian tradition and culture, IRNA reported.


Pointing to the originality and importance of Iran’s culture and civilization, she said Iran has been a country endowed with a rich and deep original and traditional culture. “Iran, with all its old history, is in the path of development and progress today.”


Mirjana Menkovi? expressed interest to work with the Iranian cultural attaché in Belgrade, saying that the Museum of Anthropology, like the previous year, would host Iran’s cultural and artistic festival as well as traditional music.


Mahmoud Shalouei, for his part, provided details of capabilities and features of Iran’s culture and art, saying that Iran’s cooperation with the Museum of Anthropology in Serbia could be promoted to the highest level in the common areas.


Serbia’s Museum of Anthropology has a long history and mainly hosts cultural and artistic programs.


Last year in February, Iranian Traditional Music was played in the Museum of Anthropology in Serbia for enthusiasts and was welcomed by many Serbians who love culture.
