47m Iranians eat unhealthy foods

Tehran, Dec 25, IRNA - About 47 million people in Iran eat �unhealthy foods�, a deputy health minister said.
��Dr. Ali Akbar Sayyari also said on Wednesday, �using unhealthy foods means low consumption of fruits and vegetables and high consumption of fat, sugar and salt�.
He noted that each Iranian uses an average of 10 to 12 grams of salt daily, which should be below five grams.

Sayyari also warned against the use of non-standard salts.
