Int’l Islamic unity conference slated for January 2

Tehran, Dec 25, IRNA -- An international conference titled “Islamic Unity in View of the Quran and Hadiths” is scheduled to be held here in Tehran on Friday, January 2.
  Tehran’s Milad Tower will host the conference, which is part of the 5th International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students.
Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohsen Araki will be among keynote speakers at the event, iqna.ir reported.

French scholar and Quran translator Yahya (Christian) Bonnaud will also address the conference.

The Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization, affiliated to the University Jihad (Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research) organizes the competition and the conference.
