Tehran, Dec 16, IRNA – Visiting Syrian Prime Minister Wael Nader al-Halqi and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a meeting late on Tuesday discussed the latest regional developments.
During the meeting held at Sa'dabad cultural-historical complex, the two officials reviewed issues of mutual interest.
The Syrian prime minister arrived in Tehran Sunday afternoon at the head of a high-ranking delegation and was accorded warm welcome by First Vice-President Es'haq Jahangiri.
Several Syrian cabinet members are accompanying al-Halqi during his three-day visit to Tehran.
