TEHRAN, Dec. 13 (MNA) – Head of National Library and Archives of Iran pointing to the two the million Iranian manuscripts abroad, expressed his concern over the dire conditions of their maintenance and emphasized on providing the needed budget for their return.

“In my recent visit to Paris I found out that 2,600 precious and rare Iranian manuscripts are preserved at National Library of France. In Spain, we have even more. We have to transfer all to Iran. Unfortunately, some of these documents are suffering from bad maintenance conditions,” he added.
