TEHRAN – The 18th International Electronic and Computer Exhibition (Elecomp 2012) opened at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds on Sunday.
Ten companies from India, China, and Portugal, along with 376 Iranian firms, are participating in the four-day event, according to the Fars News Agency.
Software, office equipment, networking systems, internet tools, and computer games are on display in the exhibition.
At the opening ceremony of the event, Iranian MP Arsalan Fathipour, who is the chairman of the Majlis Economic Committee, said that Iran exported $100 million worth of software products in the previous Iranian calendar year, which ended on March 19.
